Always a sucker and supporter of local independent bookshops, we stopped in at astoriabookshop while we were walking back to our place (4+ miles baby! 👟💪🏽). This place has such a wonderfully and lovingly curated selection that we found some great titles to pack back home with us. Finally picked up, "Do the Work: A Guide to Understanding Power and Creating Change" by megpillow77 and roxanegay74 And on their #aanhpiheritagemonth table, the novel, "Last Night at the Telegraph Club" by malindalo Also grabbed ro.kwon's latest, "Exhibit" which I have been anticipating for a while, but only now adding to the pile. And finally, "Unf#ck Your Business: Using math and Brain Science to Run a Successful Business" by joebiel20 and Dr. Faith G. Harper in case any of our offspring may someday start something up.
