This is where you get snow puffies. Paalaa Kai Bakery is a small bakery that’s located in Waialua (why-a-lu-a) in North Shore of Oahu. They are known for their malasadas and their original pastry, the Snow Puffy. It’s a puff pastry with lots of layers, filled with some silky custard cream, topped with chocolate and dusted with powdered sugar. The custard has a hint of licorice and the pastry was buttery and flaky.
