And absolutely no one who knows me is surprised at all lol Truthfully, as a climber I don’t find the chained section of the Angel’s Landing hike to be scary or technical. What actually concerned me more this time around was all the germs on the chains since Riley is at the age where she wants to put EVERYTHING into her mouth (including my hands/fingers). After spending her first week of life in the NICU, I find myself a little more aware of potential things like RSV season than I may have otherwise. It should go without saying that just because you see someone online doing something does not mean that you automatically should too. I’d done this hike before and knew what to expect. I also went in with the mentality that if I felt uncomfortable *for any reason* or Riley wasn’t happy for *any reason*, I wouldn’t be attached to finishing the hike.
