First time back at @otf_peninsula Palo Alto in 10 weeks. Without context, not the best workout: 0 splats and 0 minutes in red or orange. With context (Post hospitalization with breakthrough COVID) this morning was a huge victory: paid attention more to my breathing than to my heart rate, resisted comparing myself to other people in the room, and hit my goal of being able to breathe through an entire hour. Felt good. Still, I remain grateful for family, healthcare workers, and communities who have tended to my health, I remember so many without such resources who heal in silence, and I hold families and friends who grieve the loss of over 5,000,000 souls to COVID. #OrangeTheoryFitness #OTF #PaloAlto #GetVaccinated
