Welp, one more entering the college admissions season. This time conversations have been really different, not only because of the pandemic, but because, over the past few years, the system has been laid bare exposing even more of the inequity that taints the entire process. Youngest def has some thoughts about the system of higher education in the US, but, that said, she is diving in to keep options on the table. More higher education thoughts to come, but for now we rejoice in who this child is and is becoming. If/when she strikes out on her own, gonna miss her belly laughs, late night guitar playing, passionate opposition to the electoral college, and sharp wit.
