City of Charlotte Councilwoman Tia Brown will star in a feature documentary, "Counted", about helping women, ending childbirth in prison, and providing them with a second chance. The film, set to be released in 2026, will highlight Councilwoman Brown's work in the community, offering safe homes for incarcerated women once they are released, workforce development, and mental health support.
