"I guess you can say that I am one of the luckier ones. I went in for a mammogram in July 2018, and the results came back abnormal. I then had a biopsy done and then was diagnosed with DCIS Stage 0 breast cancer. I had surgery by Dr. Maen Farha at MedStar Good Samaritan (awesome doctor and staff)...I got lucky because it was caught early enough, but still did six weeks of radiation with Dr. Paul Fowler (another great doctor and staff)." "When it comes to mammograms, don't put it off. I procrastinated and was a little late for mine. Imagine if I had waited a little longer; it could have been worse." - Christine S.
