Sicily, Italy’s Mount Etna, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, has been very busy recently: It spewed fountains of lava and ash into the air several times during the last two weeks of February. Photographers and other citizens captured images of the eruption near landmarks like the statue of the Immaculate Madonna in Milo.
