Long days in the taro patch mean sweltering sun, heat and humidity – but Duluth Wayforger™ Lyndsey wouldn’t have it any other way. For five generations, she and her family have run the W.T. Haraguchi Taro Farm in Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i. Haraguchi Farm is the oldest, longest-running taro farm in the Hawaiian Islands, and it’s home to many species of birds and other wildlife, so harvesting by hand and utilizing sustainable farming practices are absolutely necessary. It’s also the inspiration for their family’s non-profit – offering eco-tours to educate visitors and help protect the island’s most precious natural resources. Lyndsey and her husband, Brad, even run a food truck that offers fresh, healthy foods year-round for locals and tourists alike. Lyndsey relies on Duluth’s work clothes for hot weather – made with wicking, cooling fabrics that go long on performance and durability. It’s workwear that works for you.
