Access to clean water is a big challenge in Modogashe,
#Kenya, as the area is recovering from a long drought and it has also been grappling with an outbreak of cholera.
"There is no water. You can see the situation of the kids. Cholera is causing diarrhea and vomiting. One of my daughters was affected and spent seven days in bed," explains Fatuma, a resident of Modogashe (pictured in the first photo).
In response to the outbreak, who, unicef & partners have vaccinated approximately two million people against cholera early this year. Vaccination teams went door-to-door to provide vulnerable populations with the vaccine at home as well as setting up vaccination stations in schools, health centres, markets and other strategic public spaces.
