A group of villagers walk in Ogossagou, #Mali. The security situation in the village had seriously deteriorated due to clashes between local ethnic groups. Terrorist attacks and the presence of explosive devices made it difficult to travel safely. The unpeacekeeping mission in Mali (MINUSMA) established a temporary base in Ogossagou to protect civilians and support peace negotiations. Now, thanks to the establishment of a local peace agreement, villagers are able to move around more freely.
