Hailing from the site of American independence officially being realized at Yorktown, Virginia, Nick arrived at college as a true novice that embraced his roots in a destined quest for boats and victories. Part of HVL’s legendary COVID crews, Nick walked on in one of the most difficult environments to fall in love with the sport, and successfully made the transition from elite power lifter to oarsman. No one in the program ever questioned Nick’s commitment to the sport. Ever. He’d do OYOs in the dawn of the morning and the dark of the night.
