I am holding THE MOON 🌙(a piece of it anyway) ⁣⁣ Did you know that 135 national flags were flown on board Apollo 11? Those flags along with lunar particles were gifted to those 135 nations when the crew returned. The pieces of lunar soil were presented in buttons like this one that I'm holding.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ (Side note IM HOLDING APOLLO 11 LUNAR SOIL NBD)⁣ ⁣ The same thing was done with the last mission to the moon, Apollo 17, but instead of lunar particles, they were given individual rocks. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🇨🇭You can see how these Apollo 17 rocks were presented in the 3rd pic!
