To comply with the new California Workplace Violence Prevention Plan, which will be effective on July 1, 2024, Temple Sheriff’s Station hosted a seminar to discuss and identify types of workplace violence and the reporting process. More than 180 business owners or managers attend this seminar. Scenarios, including actual 911 calls, were introduced to the audience to identify threats or actual incidents of violence. The concept of civil and criminal matters in workplace violence was also discussed during the meeting. Also, we want to thank Detective J.
