𝐈𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠… about 2 weeks into camp, our A-Cam 🎥 for all our interviews broke. No communication with the lens from the body. No autofocus. No servo communication. Nothing… just dead 🪦 Stuff like this happens. We’re moving so fast day-to-day, that we’re constantly swapping gear, we’re picking up and dropping down items, and we’re just shooting so much content that things just break down over time. Luckily we bring a ton of gear and usually have a backup for everything. But, to circle back to the A-Cam shots and cameras, we knew from the start that we wanted all of the interviews to be center framed, in order to focus most of our attention on our subjects, and for the locations to reflect a little bit about each interviewee…whether it was a physical representation of their role on the team, a manifestation of their mental state or condition, or foreshadowing something that what was to come.
