Join the African American Quilters of Baltimore and the Maryland Center for History and Culture on Saturday, February 10 to learn a few of the many methods Elizabeth Talford Scott used to create her iconic crazy quilts. Inspired by our newest exhibition Material & Memories: Elizabeth Talford Scott and the Crazy Quilt Tradition, attendees try embellishing quilts with rocks, jewelry, and other unique materials. Participants will be provided with quilting materials, but we encourage you to bring your own found objects! The program is suitable for ages 7 years and older. Program is free with Museum admission.
