Since 2017, @tyler_adams14 has been regarded as one of the bright, young, rising stars in Major League Soccer (MLS). The 19-year-old has been an impact player for the New York Red Bulls and on the international stage for the United States national team. Adams, who primarily plays as a midfielder but also has the ability to play fullback, is known for his great field vision and sharp passing skills. In three seasons with the Red Bulls, he started in 49 regular season games and contributed two goals and eleven assists. In seven postseason games, Adams had two assists and no goals. Now, he’s exchanging one Red Bulls jersey for another. Adams signed with RB Leipzig of the Bundesliga in December and joined the team full time when the January transfer window opened up.
