June is Black Music Month! African American musicians through the years have and continue to greatly influence American culture and music of all genres.
Gladys Knight, known as the "Empress of Soul," is a seven-time GRAMMY Award winner. In 1995, she earned her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 1996, Gladys Knight & The Pips were inducted into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame.
In honor of Black Music Month and Gladys Knight's upcoming performance at The Classic Center Theatre on November 21st, we wanted to share some of the artifacts we got to see from the Georgia Music Hall of Fame!
