Lately, Gregg Berhalter and the USMNT have been inviting former players to training. Today is no different. With the team now in Atalanta, former USMNT goalkeeper Brad Guzan was invited to training, where he was presented with the latest USMNT goalkeeper kit by Berhalter. In the back, it says 641. That’s because Guzan is the 641st player to get a USMNT cap. The last time the USMNT played in the Copa América, it was in 2016 where Guzan was the starting keeper. Now still playing for Atlanta United, the 39-year-old had 64 appearance for the USMNT. He was last in the USMNT camp back in 2021 when they won tne Gold Cup, although he didn’t play at all in that tournament. The 6’4 keeper had a good career, spending nine years in England with Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, and Hull City. [Via Anthony Kyaw] #usmnt #ussoccer #usa #bradguzan
