Yeah it 100% would be. If the Samsung or sandisk drive fails, it’s basically becomes a paperweight, but with the nvme’s in an enclosure, it makes it a lot more user friendly in the case it fails to try and replace the enclosure as solution 1, or try and pull the data from the chip if that doesn’t work as solution 2. Still no guarantee, but at least you have extra troubleshooting options in the chance it does fail. But yeah copying folders are definitely noticeable with speed, but day to day project editing feels the same.
