A #UnitedNations helicopter flies over Ogossagou, in central #Mali.  The security situation in this village seriously deteriorated in the past two years due to clashes between local ethnic groups, terrorist attacks & explosive devices, which made access by land a challenge. To protect civilians and support the achievement of peace, the unpeacekeeping mission in Mali (MINUSMA) established a temporary base in Ogossagou with UN peacekeepers from #Senegal.
