#UnitedNations Secretary-General antonioguterres travelled to #Niger this week and met with people at the Quallam Refugee Camp. The camp, and two other neighbouring districts, provides shelter to about 28,000 people who have fled their homes. "The families I met in Niger —like millions more in the Sahel— did nothing to cause the climate crisis, conflict, or record food prices; yet they suffer some of the most devastating consequences," he said.
