I put Permadeath into my game and it may not be the best choice... - In my original plan for my game, the design loops and ludonarrative are both designed to accommodate permadeath. (Yes, now it just looks like Dark Souls...) All the text and systems are built for it... But now, I really don't think it'll add anything... it's just a gimmick to extend the length and complete the loop. Thankfully, I've put it into my game as optional so at least there's that. Something I really have to get through my thick skull is that things won't always work and I have to cut things before it's too late... But it's okay. We all learn. Even if my iteration cycles are slower than some! -
