🌀 Hurricane Beryl made landfall along Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula on Friday morning, briefly strengthening before moving onshore as a powerful Category 2 hurricane with sustained winds at 110 mph. The worst of the storm lashed popular Mexican resort towns like Cancun, Cozumel, and Playa del Carmen.
