What am I eating and how much activity am I doing for a successful and healthy egg retrieval in a couple months?
As I’m preparing for my egg retrieval process, I learned from the.fertility.doc and halo.fertility that now is the time when I should especially be focusing on what I’m fueling my body with and how much exercise I should be doing in order to have the most successful retrieval and healthiest eggs.
For obvious reasons, exercise is important for egg health because it helps circulation, it helps balance hormones and stress, and it’s overall just great for your mental and physical health.
For optimal egg health before egg freezing, women should focus on a balanced diet rich in the following nutrients:
1. Fruits and Vegetables: High in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Aim for a variety of colors.
2. Healthy Fats: Include sources of omega-3 fatty acids like fatty fish (salmon, mackerel), nuts, seeds, and avocados.
