Through our Global Health Program (GHP), Coco Chou '20 spent her summer internship at telethon_kids in Perth, Australia. The Institute conducts research in a variety of health-related fields, with a particular focus on improving the health of children and indigenous populations. "My work included multiple facets of a research study on the concurrent burden of skin and throat infections in Australian Aboriginal children — from data collection through a surveillance trip, to coding and data analysis, to lab work, and more," Chou said.
