Part Two of our Women Who Grill event with missarahglover included a summer feast in the dining room of deermountaininn, overlooking all the greenery and flowers outside and the mountains in the distance. ⁠ ⁠ The three-course dinner started with grilled sourdough focaccia with fresh ricotta and foraged za’atar; radish salad with endive, sorrel, and Kerrygold Reserve Cheddar; and fire-blistered asparagus in lemon-butter dressing. The second course featured steelhead smoked trout; coal-roasted bok choy; oyster mushrooms with black garlic; and snowdance chicken with long pepper, tamari, warming spices, and cherries. The final course included an ice cream sundae with honey, almond, and halva, plus jello shots with absolutus by solidwiggles.⁠ ⁠ All guests took home a custom Cherry Bombe Summer Series tote bag filled with Sarah’s debut cookbook ‘Wild,’ a picnic blanket from Pernod Ricard, a serving platter from Le Creuset⁠’s Alpine Collection, and a copy of Cherry Bombe magazine.
