Need some movements to relieve aches and pains in your upper body and spine?
With help from Strength and Conditioning Coach mminnis89, we bring you three mobility moves for your spine and shoulders.
1. Full Spine Movement (Cat-Cow)
- Place your hands directly under shoulders
- Maintain a neutral spine
- Move back and forth through extension (towards the sky) and flexion (towards the ground)
2. Thoracic Spine Mobility (Middle Spine)
- Lay on your side
- Keep knees stacked at a 90° angle
- Take bottom arm and place it on top knee
- Rotate your arm open without while keeping your knee down
- Return to start
3. Shoulder Mobility
- Lay face down on the ground
- Bring arms into a goal post position with palms on the ground
- Lift arms and hand off the ground
- Push arms overhead as far as you can
- Return arms to the start
