Social analytics are so focused on engagement and commentary that we’re missing the importance of overall views & impressions. If we’re being honest, most of your replies and comments come from existing customers—not new or potential customers. If we as social marketers don’t want to be viewed as customer service, we need to focus on more top of funnel (views, impressions) and bottom of funnel (conversions) tactics within our organic content.
