I’m building new morning routines. I want to start the day fresher, more positive, and in the moment. The latest version: I’m blending Gratitude Journaling with Daily Wins and Morning Pages. Gratitude Journaling required my brain in my late 20s. I complained constantly, didn’t take responsibility, and was just sorta negative. When I picked up The 5 Minute Journal Method, I started being more appreciative of things. Started my day with a smile. Realized how much I had. The “what I’m proud of” / wins is a new addition. A friend pointed out on incredibly hard on myself at the moment. I take “it’s not your fault but it’s your responsibility” to an extreme, focusing so much on what’s going wrong or what I need to improve that I’m not presenting as my most confident self. I know why—internet hate + IRL toxicity got me in a phase where I wasn’t comfortable talking about what’s going well for me. Getting back to that by writing daily wins.
