Be productive and get On-Target with your Fairway Woods… The fairway wood is a very useful club in your bag, if you know how to hit it! Since there is very little loft, it feels like you have to help the ball in the air. This is not very productive. To be productive with fairway woods, you have to release the energy forward, towards the target. Put a head over on your 3 wood, but only partially. Then swing, and throw the head cover toward the target, not into the ground.
