Washington's got an interesting lineup coming into this season. They're a pretty old team, and I suspect that will cause them issues with consistency and also turning into another gear late into the season, but they actually look pretty decent?
If Ovi can find consistency he's almost always good for 40 goals. Washington's top-nine is filled with players that can flourish offensively, but it will depend on how Dubois can do on this new team after a really rough season in LA.
Although I'd say they don't have a legit
#1D this season, you could argue that Washington has three legitimate
#2D's in Carlson, Chychrun & Roy — and even the likes of Fehervary & Sandin may be better than their spot on the depth chart has them.
In net, I expect about the same from Washington in terms of value. Lindgren likely won't perform at an all-star calibre level again, but Thompson should be an improvement from what Kuemper was last seaso...
