If you know me well…you’d know I LOVE food…but you’d also know that food and I have a weird relationship and I’m pretty open when talking about it… For as long as I can remember, I’ve been in a toxic relationship with food-especially during my days as a pro athlete. But, I’ve been trying to make some small, healthy, and intentional changes to my mindset and eating habits to help with my eating disorder. Here are 3 things I remind myself daily: 1. Female Athletes All Come in Different Sizes: Female athletes have diverse body types, and success in sports isn’t tied to a specific size. Embracing this diversity can reduce pressure to conform to an ideal and promote a healthier body image. 2. Food is a Love Language—Food is Fuel for Your Body: See food as nourishment that supports your health and performance, not as a source of guilt.
