On July 31, the Russellville Branch of ACCU hosted a Back to School Bash. We enjoyed Smashed Burgers Food Truck along with free popsicles for guest. We also promoted the Kids Central Account by distributing goody bags for each child that came with information about the account. Russellville City Schools allowed the branch the use of one city school bus. We collected monetary donations and school supplies. After purchasing school supplies with the monetary donations, 584 items were donated to the Franklin County Department of Human Resources for foster children in Franklin County. We also were greeted straight from Disney Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Goofy. Fun was had by all and look forward to our future upcoming events. #ACCU #BackToSchoolBash
