Being a Christian means so much more than going to church on Sundays, it’s about having a relationship with God. We see Jesus going out alone and praying to the Father throughout the Bible. We often see that he intentionally goes out alone. Your relationship with God is deeply personal. While Christian community is great and is important, no one is perfect; nothing on Earth fully satisfies. Jesus, however, does fully satisfy every need. Solitude time with the LORD is used to strengthen our relationship with him, we can talk to him intimately. There’s much that God reveals to us when we’re alone with him, without distractions.
