Here are some standout arms from the 2023 draft class currently at Aberdeen Forret has 100 strikeouts in 76.2 innings while Towson, MD native Zane Barnhart has been BETTER post promotion to Aberdeen, with opponents mustering just a .176 avg off the righty. Zach Fruit started 5 games in July, going 23.1 innings with an impressive 1.54 ERA. Opponents hit just .117 against him in that span. Lefties have only hit .145 against him all season as well. I could see a promotion to Bowie somewhat soon. Nestor German is the newest Ironbird, having been promoted on August 1st. He threw two scoreless innings in his High-A debut.
