• “How’s your son? He made the team this year? Aight, they said he wasn’t tall enough.” • Got cut my senior year at Dozo. Walked on and made the team at Mercy College. Transferred to Lehman College to cut cost and got cut again. Hurtful but didn’t stop there. Just kept working. Finished up at Lehman. Hooped for the love and used my experiences and shortcomings to help others especially the youth. I wasn’t an all American, you won’t find a resume full of stats and accomplishments but I worked. My work ethic and the love I have for my craft helped shaped the man I am today. And the impact I’ve made lies in the hearts of those I’ve shared my passion with. I still play because I’m healthy and I made a promise to my late father I’ll continue to do so until the wheels fall off.
