Oakland Roots launch a gorgeous third kit in celebration of Latin and Hispanic heritage 🔥 The kits are made by Mexican brand Charly, and were released in collaboration with Panamanian hip hop group Los Rakas. Roots will debut the kits on “Conoce Tus Raíces” night this Sunday. “This jersey isn’t just something you wear. It’s a piece of Oakland’s soul, it’s inside of you,” said Los Rakas. The kit’s intricate skeleton design pays homage to the traditional mosaic artistry. The skeleton is a significant symbol within the Latino culture. Meanwhile, the palette is a kaleidoscope of mosaic colors. It is there to reflect the diversity of Oakland. “This goes beyond soccer.
