The final emotions After 112 miles of biking through the hills of the Cumberland Plateau and 26.2 miles of running through the rainy streets of downtown Chattanooga, athletes officially become an Ironman. There was a special kind of energy that I have never seen or experienced before while at this race. There was a feeling of community amongst strangers.
