Pumpkin Pie Twists for Thanksgiving đ„§
My whole house smells like a giant pumpkin pie after making these! I added challengebutter Vanilla Snack Spread to the filling for the perfect balance of rich and creamy, and letâs not forget that deliciously flaky crust on the outside! đ
Youâll need-
-1/2 cup pumpkin purée
-1/4 cup brown sugar
-2 tbsp Challenge Vanilla Fudge Spread
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
-2 sheets puff pastry
-cinnamon sugar
-egg wash
Place the pumpkin purée, brown sugar, vanilla fudge spread, and spices into a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
Evenly spread the pumpkin mixture over a piece of puff pastry, then sandwich a second piece on top.
With a pizza cutter, slice the pastry into long thin strips. Twist each strip, then place onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush each piece with egg wash and add a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar.
Bake in a preheated oven at 400F for about 20 minutes or until golden.
