Gingerbread Hot Cocoa Bomb 🎄☕️
The first day of December is the perfect excuse for a cup of hot cocoa isn’t it?!
You’ll need:
Ghirardelli white and dark chocolate wafers
Oil based food coloring (optional)
Hot cocoa powder
Mini marshmallows
Red sprinkles
Hot milk
Heat chocolate wafers together in the microwave for 30 second bursts until completely melted. If you want to achieve more of a gingerbread color, add a few drops of food coloring.
Spoon the melted chocolate into the mold, brushing up the sides until completely coated. Allow the chocolate to set in the fridge, then repeat this step for a second coat.
Carefully remove the chocolate shell from the mold and fill with cocoa powder and marshmallows.
Spoon melted chocolate on top of the marshmallows to close the cocoa bomb.
Pipe white melted chocolate onto the gingerbread man to look like icing, and attach the sprinkles for buttons.
Place into a mug of hot milk to melt, or wrap up and give to a friend!
