This month the SoC celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month and the positive impact Hispanic Americans have had on our Northwestern SoC community and the United States as a whole! One of the faculty members that we honor this year is Pablo J. Boczkowski, Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani Professor in the Department of Communication Studies. 2024 marks the 30th anniversary of Professor Boczkowski’s arrival to the US, where he’s spent most of his life by now, from Argentina. “I’m very proud of both my Latin American and my Latino identities, which are related but different.
