It’s race day, but The Bundle of Joy Fund and our commitment to advocate for the 1 in 6 facing infertility is always at the forefront. Infertility is classified as a disease, yet most hard working Americans have little or no insurance coverage to afford it. Police officers, nurses, teachers - individuals who support our community face paying for the high cost of treatments on their own - many a times upwards of $20,000 just for the opportunity to become a parent with no guarantee. Many of us can agree that financial barriers should not stop deserving individuals the opportunity to become parents. We had a constructive conversation today about the support for pro-family building policies and I’m thankful and blessed to be put into the position and places that allow me to speak on behalf of the men and women that will face infertility. 🇺🇸
