Berkeley Manufacturing Week 2024 invited visitors behind the scenes at local favorites, such as Boichik Bagels and Covenant Wines this past week. The annual tradition has been hosting customers, neighbors and innovators alike across local businesses since 2018, holding 17 tours and accommodating hundreds of visitors this year, according to Elizabeth Cleveland, chief strategist of sustainable growth at the city of Berkeley’s Office of Economic Development, or OED. The OED hosts Berkeley Manufacturing Week in accordance with National Manufacturing Day, the first Friday of October, Cleveland noted.
