🐾 Meet Hazel, our four-legged counselor extraordinaire! This miniature labradoodle isn't just bringing joy to our halls—she's using her spark of genius to transform how our students experience counseling services! ✨ Born in March 2021, Hazel's journey from playful puppy to certified therapy dog has been nothing short of remarkable. After mastering her basic obedience training, she and her handler (and Director of School Counseling here at Dwight) Michael Haber enrolled in The Good Dog Foundation's (gooddogtherapy) therapy program, where she trained alongside an incredible mix of canine companions, ranging from former racing dogs to rescue pups. Together, they're part of our school's comprehensive counseling department, working alongside our amazing social worker, school counselor, and school psychologist to support our entire community.
