When you live in the South and it doesn't snow 🙈❄️ I can’t resist these buttery, confectioner sugar-dusted, Nutella-filled Linzer cookies 😍 2 sticks of butter, at room temperature 1/ 2 cup sugar 2 1/ 2 all-purpose flour 1/ 2 cup almond flour 1/ 2 teaspoon salt 1 egg yolk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Nutella, for filling confectioner sugar, for dusting Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment.In a medium bowl, sift together the AP flour, almond flour, and salt. Set aside. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and egg yolk and mix for another 15 seconds. With the mixer running on low speed, in a steady stream, add in the flour mixture. Paddle until the dough just comes together. Do not over mix.
