I was never hesitant about sharing about my first solo experience, but I’ve always been nervous to share the reason how I started. I felt so embarrassed (and almost scammed) about how I ended up going to Norway alone, but ironically ended up being a blessing in disguise 🇳🇴
I wasn’t confident navigating and getting around the country. I didn’t know if we were going to speak the same language. I didn’t know if I was going to have the mind capacity to enjoy the trip because I was so sad. I couldn’t think to plan all these things prior to the trip because I was so anxious. But I went with it. And once I landed in Oslo, it was like all my worries went away.
Solo travel has been a huge part of who I am and has CHANGED my life forever. I did the best I could to make my time in Norway unforgettable, and I thank every bone in my body that I fell through with the trip.
