Since embarking on a life coaching project with my coach and partner consciouslivingwithali I have been pushed to try things I would never think to do on my own. I am almost always working while I eat because it makes work fly by while enjoying my food at the same time. The downside to this is I almost always shove food into my mouth without focusing on the experience. Today I did one of my life coaching assignments: eat one mindful meal. I did my best to smell each dish before eating them. I chewed each bite. I savored the experience and truly am grateful that I have the food I need to nourish my body. Next week I hope to break the 15 minute mark.
