While there is still a ton of work to be done in order to return to sport, Julianna’s sprinting progress has been incredible to watch.
We went from taking the first week to get used to moving with a brace on, to slowly building trust in herself to truly use the strength and power she has been building back up in her legs to make her sprint technique more symmetrical and “normal.”
The great thing about video feedback (especially with return to sport clients) is that they can SEE the difference between how their affected and unaffected sides are moving. It’s also a powerful tool in showing someone the progress that they are making over time.
Week to week things may not feel or seem much different, but looking at day 1 to week 8 there are some clear improvements in her form and her confidence. SO EXCITED to see what we can do next.
