1 double pie crust
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons heavy cream
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
3 tablespoons white miso
4 honey crisp apples, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 granny smith apple, peeled and cut into 1/2-nch slices
1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 large egg, beaten in a small bowl for egg wash
Roll out the first disc of pie dough, being sure to rotate it every so often, as to avoid it from sticking. Roll it over your rolling pin and lay it over the pie pan, fitting it to the sides. Place it in the fridge until you’re ready to use it.
